Bainbridge Island Fire Station
Bainbridge Island, Washington

Project Manager: Marty Sievertson
Superintendent: Riley Arnold
Architect: O'Connor Architects

This multi-building project included a fire station, a separate residence and a concrete fire-training tower. As is typical, the volunteer fire station houses vehicle and equipment bays; offices and classrooms; locker rooms and shower facilities; a kitchen and dining areas. The separate residence provides two complete townhouses for resident trainees. In addition to the concrete training tower, a 60,000-gallon underground water storage tank and fire pump were installed for use in fire training exercises.
