Drury Construction Co. Inc. has moved into the third building of the Powder Hill Place Development, joining the Boxlight Corporation within the new office campus above Tenth Avenue in Poulsbo, according to Current Development, Poulsbo developer of the proposed six building campus.
Drury Construction has been the general contractor for each of the three Powder Hill buildings, with the fourth to start this summer.
During its twenty-five years on Bainbridge Island, it was the Drury firm that constructed the wood walkway extending North from Poulsbo’s Liberty Bay Waterfront Park in 1975.
“The new Poulsbo location is larger and will accommodate our enlarged estimating and project management staff,” said company President Don Drury.
“Along with that we now have an area specifically set aside for subcontractors and material suppliers,” he said.
Drury Construction is currently completing the expansion of the Bainbridge Island Public Library, while beginning new branches for the Washington Mutual Bank on Bainbridge Island and Peninsula Community Federal Credit Union in Shelton.
